Kim Donaldson Exhibition Dawn till Dusk
Posted 25/08/2010
Kim Donaldson will be attending a private view of his new collection of wildlife paintings at Clarendon on Thursday 21st October. The exhibition will be open to the public with works going on sale from Friday 22nd October to Saturday 6th November.
Having spent his early life on a 150,000 acre ranch in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia), Donaldson was perfectly placed to develop and nurture his interest in the wildlife that surrounded him, and returns often to the continent that he still loves. His distinctive use of palette and texture create an intimate impression of the real Africa, with genuine knowledge and affection complimenting his consummate skill. Donaldson’s virtuosic wildlife portraits have gained him a formidable international reputation throughout Europe and America, and his work is sold in the world’s most prestigious auction houses including Sotheby’s, Christie’s, Bonhams & Philips. Clarendon is delighted to host this major event.
