Robin Coleman has achieved international renown by creating his own highly personal style of pop art which is completely unlike any other art on the contemporary market. Initially Robin worked exclusively as a painter, but as he explored a wider array of media his work moved into a whole new dimension and began to bring him global recognition. He now incorporates elements ranging from magazine cuttings, stamps and newsprint to vintage comic book characters, often from the original publications, and pays homage to other artists, particularly Roy Lichtenstein. Robin has exhibited in many galleries across the UK and in locations including New York, Cape Town, Dubai and Paris alongside pioneers of street art including Banksy, Mr Brainwash and Eine. Antonio Banderas is one of many celebrities who collect his work, and he has been featured widely in the media, including in various magazine such as Art of England and Art Times. His works have been selling out at auction for double their estimate, making him one to watch in terms of investment opportunity.
