‘Sands of Time’ is part of the ‘Spectrum’ collection from leading contemporary artist and explorer Philip Gray. Inspired by the shoreline around Gray’s own home on the west coast of Ireland, it features a lone figure standing on the rocks gazing out to sea. Around them the beach is lit by an incandescent glow which turns the sand into a golden mirror, while above, the sky is tinged with pink and the promise of a good day tomorrow. ‘Sands of Time’ has been released as a framed collectable edition of 195 and measures 20 x 14”.
