Part of the new collection from Fabian Perez, collectable limited edition The Alley, Buenos Aires takes us once more to the award-winning artist’s homeland of Argentina. A mysterious male figure dressed in a smart grey tailored suit and white shirt, with black tie, tipped fedora and averted gaze, waits nonchalantly with his hands in his pockets on the low lit cobbled street, smoking a cigarette. In the background a female figure in a short black dress slips away into the night leaving us to wonder about the encounter that may have just come to pass and all those yet to come. This embellished canvas on board piece, measuring 18 x 24” and released in an edition of 95, would make a striking and thought-provoking addition to any contemporary fine art collection.
