Clarendon Fine Art comes to Westport USA
Clarendon is delighted to announce the launch of our US Flagship gallery in the beautiful town of Westport, Connecticut. The new gallery, a 3,200-square-foot building at 22 Main Street, showcases a hand-picked international portfolio from world-famous names alongside the best emerging talents. Word-of-mouth, cultivated relationships, and passion for the art and artists have been the impetus for Clarendon’s growth, making a thriving town the right place to begin this US journey rather than a large city.
Founder and CEO Helen Swaby says: “We are thrilled to be starting our American adventure in Westport – it's a flourishing cultural and creative center and, like Clarendon, has a strong commitment to preserving community, traditions, and quality of life.” She goes on: “We create an inspirational journey through the art world for every individual, whether they are a seasoned art collector or are just starting out. All our Art Advisors believe passionately in the joy of collecting; we love nothing more than sharing that passion with others and believe the time is now right to introduce ourselves to an American audience.”
The wide range of artworks on show includes originals, collector's editions, and sculptures across genres such as landscape, wildlife, still life, figurative and abstract. In addition, 20th Century investment pieces from artists such as Picasso, Miro, Warhol and Dali are displayed alongside cutting-edge pop and street artists such as Mr. Brainwash, Koons, and Banksy, while contemporary artists including Christian Hook, Fabian Perez, Sherree Valentine-Daines, and the satirical British duo The Connor Brothers are complemented by abstract and landscape works from artists such as Danielle O'Connor Akiyama and Jeffrey Pratt.
